At tap at the Riverbend Music Center - Pours golden with a thin white head. Notes of light biscuit, herbs and bread dough. Clean fermentation, very refreshing. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

Did Budweiser brew this? Maybe, I’m being harsh, then again I usually am harsh towards beer that is brewed to please the masses. You know the ones who like their beer watered down and lacking of flavor and hops. This beer fits the crowd at Hofbrauhaus in Newport. Just because it’s German and just because it’s a lager, doesn’t mean it has to suck, but this one...... does.

20 oz draft at brewpub. Dark cloudy amber hue with medium rocky head that diminished slowly. Medium well balanced aroma of malt and hop. Medium body with unfiltered texture. Well balanced flavor much like the aroma with a small bitter finish. Very good change of pace for this brewer.
