COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hofbräu Light is a lager beer which has been brewed lighter in body and with less alcohol, which is approx. 3.6% alcohol by volume, but with a lovely hop flavor as it is typical for German beers. A BEER WITH LESS ALCOHOL & CALORIES BUT GREAT TASTE! Type: Bottom-fermented Lager.

Sampler @HB Newport: Pale straw color with a medium white head. Not much in aroma. Flavor is light and watery, but it does have hint of sweetness.

Tap at Newport pub. Clear amber color and small white head. Brewed for american moist air drinkers.

Yeah, this stuff is lame. Taste is weak, appearance is weak. Watery. Expensive.

It's pondwater, German-style! This is a weak, watery, poor imitation of beer... and it's overpriced, too!

Light gold and bubbly with a medium white head. Not much in the way of aroma of any kind. Very light and crisp but as with the aroma there is not a lot of flavor to challenge someone. A good introductory beer to the masses who go to Hofbrauhaus and can't find their security blanket beers.

This beer is created so that the American Macro fans can have something to rave about. Very light in color, white head, little flavor, I thought I was drinking a Miller Lite there for a minute. Not much for the RB drinker!
