Commercial Description:
White fine-poured foam sparkles quietly before you and forms a solid uniform layer on top of the light golden brew. You can smell the malt, hops and yeast which are subtly coordinated- and after repeated sniffing you will also discover the flowery fragrance. The impression is easy to retain, and that makes it the Original, Full-bodied, yet not too robust. Always well escorted by a truly fine hops aroma, in no way bitter, but also not just malty.

Draught at the brewery. Medium light yellow in color. Lemon, banana and corn esters in the nose. A bit tingling on the tongue, nice and crisp. Lightly syrupy as well. Very strong sweet corn flavor. Overall it’s a little above average for lagers, certainly drinkable, and an OK attempt by the brewery at a German helles, but it doesn’t knock my socks off.

Tap at Newport. Amber color with medium white head. Good aroma of malt and hops. Flavor was full with hops and sparkle taste. Good finish.

At the new Las Vegas outlet, this is brewed in Munich, not Kentucky, but it's the same beer ... the classic Bavarian lager, firmly golden, well bittered and smooth starchy (but good) finish.

This brew poured a medium head of small to medium sized white bubbles that quickly faded and a transparent wheat yellow body. It had a mild almost unnoticeable aroma. It was smooth and easy to drink, but unimpressive.

This brew poured an average white foamy head. There was very little lacing on the sides of my glass. It was yellow in body. It had a malty aroma. It had a slight bitterness to it and a slight aftertaste.
