Draft at Newport. Tastes like Molson. Drink it quick before it gets warm . I liked this place, but it probably be better with a crowd and lots of HofBraufraus.

does not count  May 19, 2008 The best beer that I have had. On a hot summer night after a long day of work, this beer was simply amazing. Great flavor, just a good strong lager.

Dec 6, 2007 Single 1 pt, 9oz bottle: Taste: slight hops taste, but mostly a very light sweet malt taste, some yeast taste, hints of citrus, definitely light on all of these. Not much taste of anything. Watery palate makes it pretty close to bud light, but a little bit lighter and sweeter with less bitter hos taste and with less aftertaste. Nothing special. Appearance: Clear golden color, smells like apple juice, good head, but poor retention. I got through about half of it. Anything from the Hitachino Nest line is better than this adn there are better beers than those, too.

Sep 23, 2007 Pours bright golden with a fully receding off-white head. Aroma is very clean, with light lager breadiness. Taste is clean, lightly bready, with notes of cookie and toasted malt. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with lively carbonation. Wasn’t expecting to be blown away by multiple facets of flavor. Nicely paired with the notoriously heavy German fare.
