Cloudy lemon yellow with soapy white head. Lemon, corriander and clove on the nose with a hint of barnyard. Medium-full palate s creamy and lush with corriander, clove and tangerine flavors. Finish goes on forever. Solid.

On tap at Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh. Pour pale golden with big fluffy white head. Thin lacing, medium body, medium carbonation, and beautiful banana aroma. Taste is estery banana, tart wheat, some lemon, and a hint of clove. True to the style and good.

(draft @ Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh, PA) Cloudy orange pour with a thick and frothy white head. Really nice banana and clove aroma with some dry wheat notes under it. Flavor is a very sweet fruit and spice note at the start. Good banana and bubblegum flavors with a mild spice middle and a smooth and dry wheat and banana finish. Really nice.

Draft at hofbrau haus Pittsburgh. That’s more like it. Pours yellow with a thin white head. Not as cloudy as other hefes I’ve sampled. Big bubble gum on the nose. Nice balance of banana and esters on the tongue. There’s lots of good hefe in this state and this is up there.

A pretty good wheat beer with a slight sweetness as an aftertaste. Even better is the location that it is served at.

Appearance is hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is mostly wheat and grains. Taste is also dominated by wheat/grains with a hint of sweetness. Overall one of the more solid beers I have had there.

Sample at Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh. Opaque yellow in color with a fluffy white head. Malty nose with plenty of banana and clove, along with some pepper. Banana flavor up front, with some malt and pepper before a clove finish.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a very cloudy yellow with a large white head- almost opaque. The aroma is rich banana esters, cloves, cinnamon. The flavor is great; very rich spices, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, a full citrus and fruity banana flavor, apples, great.
