This poured a plae yellow color with a big white head. Aroma was almost nonexistant but a little grassy. Flavor was mainly grassy with some surprising adjunct tastes as well. Not good.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 DiarmaidBHK (1540) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 4, 2011
On tap at hofbrau haus. Pours clear with a touch of yellow. Not much good on the nose. It’s a tad off-putting in it’s unidentifiableness. Not much on the tongue. Fizzy. Finishes clean. Pass!

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a very clear golden color with a medium white head. A light grainy nose. A smooth flavor; somewhat watery, but fits in a nice grainy and sweet flavor. Very clean. Good. Very much like the Premium lager.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 j12601 (4452) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUL 29, 2010
On tap at Hofbräuhaus Pittsburgh on our way to RBSG. Pours a clear yellow, with a medium sized white head. Rivals the Premium Lager for “who can look more like water with a head”. Skunky and grainy on the nose, skunky and grainy in the mouth. Not good. Nasty bitterness on the finish.

Compared to macro lights, I guess this was awesome. But... light beer just seemed out of place here. It wasn’t all that much lighter in color than the regular lager, not sure if that says something good about it or bad about the lager. Tried some of Vanessa’s and otherwise stayed away.

UPDATED: APR 12, 2012 A very good light beer if you ask me. A grassy/grain taste that is very drinkable.

Tastes of grains and a little grass. Light body. Thin, watery texture. Average carbonation. Grassy finish. Not good.
