Dark yellow with a white cover. Aroma is sweet malts, some light hay, grass. Taste is on the sweet side again, bready, would like a touch more hops for balance, but it is good enough to drink by the liter.

(draft @ Hofbrauhaus Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh, PA) Clear amber pour with a thick white head. Subtle malty aroma with a very light and dry hop note. Smooth and sweet flavor at the start. Lots of caramel malts mixing with a very light dryness and finishing off with a lightly bitter aftertaste. Smooth and drinkable.

On tap at Hofbräuhaus Pittsburgh. Mild hoppy beany aroma with some light malt sweetness. Clean crisp aroma - definitely fresh. Golden amber clear with thin white lacing head. Medium bodied with medium carbonation - soft water. Clean, crisp lager that goes down easy and refreshes. Pairs will with the fair and perfect for the surroundings. Solid pale lager.

On tap at the Brewpub Christmas Eve. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. A smooth grainy honey nose. The flavor is nice; a Euro lager, grainy, some sweetness akin to honey, fairly clean. Enjoyable.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 LinusStick (2616) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 3, 2009
A decent run of the mill pale lager. Aroma was pretty full but a little stale. Pour was a nice clear gold with a 3 finger white head. Just as I picture a beer looking like in Germanuy. Taste was average pale lager. Crisp and refreshing while ice cold, then worse as it got warmer. I can’t help but think the atmosphere of this place didn’t influence my enjoyment of this beer. Can’t wait to have this in the summer.
