COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

This beer is now near the top of the list of my favorites. I drank this last time I was in berlin, at the sony center at potsdamer platz. In the only german restaurant there I think. For my taste it was perfect. I’d love to have this imported here in the states.

Traunstein 1612 zwickbier Pour me another. Fine tasting. Lite as feather but very tasteful. A lot of sweet yeast flavor. This is great. Not sure how accessible it is but this represents a pretty cool and tasty style. Need a good version of this local.

On draft somewhere in the Traunstein region. Hazy golden coloured, small but lasting head. Malty nose, citric notes, a bit grassy. Hopbitter flavour, very pleasant. Very easy to drink beer, very well suited for those 0.5 or 1 liter glasses that one finds everywhere here in Bavaria.

Draft @ Lindenbrau Berlin. Nicely hazed light gold. Very fresh aroma is crisp and grassy. The sweet pale malts are balanced by delicate hop flavors that linger nicely. The unfilteredness helps the body be juicy. A bit sweet but still good.

Yellow, slightly pale, continuing vigorous white head. Lots of body, good sustained carbonation. Low bitterness. Low malt, but consistent and enjoyable flavor. Highly drinkable, and a one-tenth point bump for a good experience. Tap at Lindenbrau at Sony Center, Berlin.

As Lindenbrau Hopfinger - Hazy, bright blond with bright white and lasting head. Very fresh tasting. Good bitterness in the finish. A great thirst quencher.

Draught @ Lindenbraü, Berlin. Yellow coloured. Unclear. Dense creamy off white head. Sweetness, spice, light yeast and herbs in the aroma. Flavour is flowery, sweet and has some fruity notes. Medium bodied. Fresh light citric end. Dry and salty.

Hazy straw colour. Fairly bready but pretty tasty. Some slightly herbaceous (nettles?), citric hoppy notes in the flavour. Mouthfeel is mellow and could be a touch firmer. Overall, clean, pleasant and well made. I tend to prefer a crisper, dryer lager but this softer specimen hit the spot just fine.
