Bottle: Clear, golden, no head to speak of; pale-malty nose with a lemony background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; dryish citrousy-hoppy finish, "disturbed" by a little touch of pale malt. well crafted, but quite inoffensive brew........

MoritzF (8590) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUN 6, 2009
(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a big and bubbling foamy white head. Herbal and slightly spicy hoppy aroma with sweet and slightly doughy malt and shy traces of barnyard. Sweet and minimal bitter, slightly grainy (cara-)malty taste with notes of honey; light to medium bodied, crispy on the tongue; sweet-bitter finish with shy herbal hops. Pleasant, easy-going Lager (06.VI.09).

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts mild, modest hoppy. The finish is still mild, a little bit spicy, woody. Nice!

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 3, 2008
Light yellow colored, medium sized white head. Strongly hopped, still nicely hopped, classic Germany pils aroma. Also some sweet honey notes here.Thin to medium bodied. Flavor starts with this sweet honey tone, ending turns to nice hopped and crispy with some toffee and lemon. Good basic Germany pils with this convenient toffee note.

Bottle. Golden with a small head. Aromas are sweet grain with soft hay notes. Dry biscuit with clean hops. Flavours are sweet grain with light caramel. Has a strange fruitiness - almost lemon. Dry on the finish with burnt caramel. OK.

Bottle. Clean German pils, grainy, grassy, but perhaps a touch thin, with some metallic edges. Not a favourite helles of mine, but drinkable.

Bottle @ Battersea Beer Festival. Drinkable german beer. Green hop aroma and not much else flavour wise but I found it quite drinkable and pleasant despiute that.
