An orange beer with a fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of both straw and malt. The flavor is very sweet and quite malty with a flowery hop note setting in, and leading to a bitter and slightly caramelic end.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, deep golden with a small, white head. Malty aroma. Medium body with sweet malts. Decent all right - just not very exciting. 101106

Bottle, 4.8%. Clear golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour has a good hoppiness, but there is also a little paper. Quite drinkable, though.

It’s yellow-golden with a white, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of bread, flower and malt. The flavour has a light sweetness and the same lovely notes as the aroma. It’s very harmonious and nice.

bierkoning (9999) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - SEP 24, 2002
UPDATED: JUN 29, 2007 Malt and hops in the aroma. Barnyard present in aroma and taste. Malty, bit hoppy flavor with caramel. Full bodied. Tap: Schmidtbräu Neuhaus. Light golden color. Malty sweetish flavor with only a hint of flowery hops and citrus. Nice and easy going, but not too much character. (6 3 6 3 10 = 2.8)

Bottle: Clear, golden, no head to speak of; pale-malty nose with a lemony background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; dryish citrousy-hoppy finish, "disturbed" by a little touch of pale malt. well crafted, but quite inoffensive brew........

Bottled. An old gold coloured lager with a wispish tan coloured head. The aroma is fairly non-descript and dull. The taste is clean and fresh. A little light hoppiness but really nothing distinguishable. Dull but drinkable.
