3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slight vanilla aroma. Medium to full bodied. Very malty pilsener. Hoppy and flowery with vanilla. Maybe a bit too flowery for my taste, but indeed a well hopped and well brewed pilsener. Thanks for the bottle, Dortmunder.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Slightly cloudy, pale golden colour. Lacey medium head. Hoppy aroma. Very refreshing hop-bitter taste with flowery notes, and a very light sweetness. Very nice and balanced, as flowery notes in a Pilsener are often accompanied by a too strong sweetness and staleness. Not in this one. Very good Pilsner of the drier variety.

drank this in cham and it nearly made me do just that in my pants. i guess this is just for the local market. very bitter and dry. not quite as buttery and rich as the other hofmarks but still with plenty of the hay aroma and very fresh
