this seems to be available only in cham or australia. and i think it is the best of the lot. lots of hay and some honey in the aroma. a half litre of this disappeared very quickly, but i did only have 40 minutes to have a half litre of the 3 hofmark pilses. amazingly soft, disappearing texture, beautiful light golden with the faintest greenish tinge. plenty of bitterness is there but the finish is so dry that you have to look for it a bit. fantastic. i could go on for hours about it

RE-rate: Probably the best pilsener i’ve had. Kind of woody hoppy aroma. Hugely flavourful (is that a word?). Spicy, herbal, invigourating, bitter, solid etc. Extremely satisfying herbal bitter finish, crisp, brilliant.

You know you like this. Home aid and band posts and dopes go bam with honey and cheese and siamese lesbian twins.

Slightly cloudy golden body with one of the best heads ever on a pilsener. Nice dry, hoppy aroma. Tastes GREAT: like everything a German lager should be. In addition, it is very well hopped - there is a mild hop attack and enough malts to keep you interested. A very satisfying beer.

Bottled. Clear golden colour. Medium, lacey head. Aroma is strange for a German pilsner. Quite grassy, but some citrus fruits and pine needles there. Malty background in the taste, a bit reminiscient of the malt in some american beers, maybe chocolatey is the right word. Otherwise hoppy and with a very light sweetness. Finishes unusual for a pilsner. Citrus-fruity hops and chocolatey maltiness. Overall the malts and hops remind me of American beers. Weird, as I don´t think they use any of those. Barely mediumbodied, but with a smooth texture. Excellent pilsner.

Woody stuff, cloudy appearance, lingering malty aroma and taste, excellent smooth texture with long lasting spongy froth on the top. Good amount og hops so as not overpower the malt. Very easy to drink and enjoy.

Darker gold than a standerd pils, with a small head. Rich malty aroma, which is peppery and herbal. Crisp and herbal flavour with a gentle bitterness that gains strength towards its dry finish. This is a very nice, flavourful, and also very distinctive pilsener.
