500ml bottle. Clear, ruby red glowing, mahogany colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Grainy and strawy aroma with cautious roasty hints of dark malt and dark bread. Taste is minimally sweet dark malty, hints of dark bread, very cautious hints of treacle in homoeopathic dosage, dry to bitter hoppy overtones. Delivers aome adequate flavours but remains slightly inharmonic and unbalanced.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dark, almost black. Nice head. Starts mild-malty, not too roasty, modest sweet. Finish still mild, some earthy-malty notes. Quite drinkable. Nice!

It’s dark mahogany red with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, nuts, burnt sugar, and the flavor has the same nice notes. The finish is dry. It’s a really nice dunkel.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, brown beer with a decent off-white head. Grainy, toffee-ish aroma with a hint of coffee. Coffee, toffee and some bittering hops in the flavor. Medium body, quite dry. The finish has toffee, nuts and some coffee. Not bad, just mediocre and not very interesting. Sure drinkable though. 110128
