330 ml bottle, batch 8 (hops: Mühlviertler Tettnanger, Saphir, Galaxy, Topaz), from Bottle Shop, Salzburg.
Deep golden, clear body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, white head.
Aroma of grass, hay, fresh herbs, citrus, tangerine, some sweet malts.
Taste follows this pretty much.
Medium, quite oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, quite dry, with grass, herbs, lemon zest.

Enjoyable, fresh Imperial Pils. Nice combination of grass and herb notes, with fruity hops. Not the best beer of this style I’ve had, but definitely the best Imperial Pils from Austria in my opinion.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Hazy brownish orange colour, small off-white head. Aroma is sweet corn, some mild grains as well as some sweetish grassy notes. Flavour is nicely floral and grassy hops along with a nice bready maltiness to it. Hides the abv rather well.

Bottled, thanks Sebilinz! Hazy deep golden, creamy head. Fruity and doughy. Mid sweet with solid body and well rounded mouthfeel. Chewy, firm malt. Grassy and fruity. Long balanced bitterness. Harmonious and really well made.

Tasting batch 7 with East Kent Golding and Challenger hops combined with Mühlviertler aroma hops. Pours golden with a massive head. Floral, fruity aroma. Refreshing bitterness and very well balanced carbonation. Absolutely nice Imperial Pils.

Small head leaving good lacing. Biscuity smell with a touch of caramel. Some faint earthy hops. Some malt up front in the taste but it is quickly overwhelmed by the hops. Bitter from start to finish. Maybe a bit too carbonated for the style but it’s still OK. Overall this was a decent bitter but nothing really special.

I strongly recommend this absolutely great beer to everyone. I personally know Karl Schiffner. It’s absolutely innovative and awesome what beer culture he is establishing not only in our country and his place but also around the world. Greetings
