The color is a beautiful red amber and the head is creamy. The aroma has notes of malt, light fruit - it’s mild. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of malt, fruit, light caramel and the finish is slightly dry.

Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, keller - nutty notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a long duration, caramel, keller - nutty, sweet malt - sugar, bread notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle 0,33 ltr: Clear amber brew with silky and firm taste, sweet an caramel. Is this an "Stein-Beer" or a kind of "Bock". Not great and not bad.

ersma: der name impliziert ja, dass es sich um ein „steinbier“ handelt, also heiße steine in den sud geworfen werden, damit der zucker karamelisiert. das ist offensichtlich aber nicht der fall. vielmehr ist zu lesen, dass das bier denen der alten steinmetze nachempfunden ist. was auch immer das heißen mag. hier wird der stein als filter für das wasser angegeben, was aber auch nicht weiter ausgeführt wird.
dunkel bernsteinfarben mit mittelviel schaum, der stabiler sein könnte.
der geruch ist hopfig und röstmalzig. etwas karamell.
der antrunk ist röstmalzig und bringt noten von karamell mit sich. dahinter eine leichte hopfigkeit. diese wird zur mitte ausgeprägter. der malzige körper prägt mit seinen karamellnoten das geschehen bis in den abgang. geschmacklich könnte man sich schon vorstellen, dass da heißer granit in den kessel gewandert ist.
die flasche, 0.33-l-handgranate, ist mit silberumrandeten etiketten, deren hintergrund eine granitstruktur bildet, ansprechend.
fazit: hätte etwas mehr hopfen vertragen können. gut trinkbar, ohne wirklich überzeugend zu sein.

Bottle thanks to Joes. Clear dark copper color, small off-white head. Smell malts, cooked vegetables and something weird. Taste malts, lightly sweet and something I can’t quite put my finger on. Pretty weird. Low body and carbo.

Bottle thx to joes. Golden colour, small head that’s gone quickly. Smells slightly smoked, malts, sweet. Tastes a bit watery, malty, lightly grassy. Very thin body, fizzy carbo.

Deep amber color with medium size off-white head. Malt aroma. Creamy caramel flavored with a stoney touch. good mouth feel.

Bottle from Biererei. Golden orange, compact white head fades with very sparse lacing. Nice perfumed nose, honey malts and nicely aromatic hop notes - lavender, elderflower. Sweet honeyed front, some lager grain flavours, dry earthy noble hop notes later on. Clean yeasty finish. Not bad, nice and drinkable.
