ogreface (1345) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 4, 2011

WesKBob (563) - Bethany, Oklahoma, USA - MAR 1, 2011
On tap at ChurchKey in Washington, DC. Supposedly, the first place in America to get this brewer. Pours a hazy copper-brown color. Aroma of dark malt, brown sugar and alcohol. Flavor is weak, with noted of stale bread and mustiness with just the slightest sweetness. Slightly astringent and a dry finish. Not my thing.

Bottle at the brewery with Peter Krammer. Lovely malty sweet, dark Amber beer with a hint of sweet sap in the nose. not woody and could do with a bit more fir notes, but a gorgeous beer anyhow. Delicious!
