3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewpub in Fayetteville, AR. Pours a clear, pale yellow colored body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is grainy with some lemon-grass and a touch of pils sweetness. Flavor is similar. Grainy pils malts with a light sweetness and a balanced lemon-grass. Finishes clean, dry, and lightly bitter with some grass and a few lemon notes. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a light, crisp body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty well done Helles. Light, crisp, and refreshing with a balanced lemon-grass bitterness and grainy pils malt backing. Not bad.
