COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Oktoberfest is an amber lager that is brewed with imported German pilsner malt, and hopped with German Noble hops for an authentic flavor. This lager is aged for over four weeks to give it an incredible crisp, clean smoothness. There is no better way to help celebrate the fall season. O.G.= 1.056 s.g.

Pours a hazy light amber. Slight aroma of malt. Not much else. Slight bitterness and very slight caramel. Meh.

On tap at the brewpub in Fayetteville, AR. Pours a clear, copper-gold colored body with a finger-width, creamy and frothy, beige head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is lightly sweetened caramels with a touch of bready toast. Hints of grass and fruit as well. Flavor is similar. Lightly toasted and bready with a light caramel and touch of fruitiness. Finishes fairly dry and lightly bitter with a light grassiness before leaving a medium length aftertaste. Medium-light body with a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent Oktoberfest. Nicely balanced with a solid grassy bitterness and light toasty sweetness.

Tap at the brewpub. The body was dark copper with a light khaki head. The nose was light with caramel and fall leaves. There was also a little bit of apple. The taste was woody and fairly dry. There was leather and apple core along with some tobacco notes. Overall, a decent brew, but a little boring.
