Cask at Rover’s Return, Douglas, Isle of Man. Hazy golden, small head. Intense sweaty hay-like hop aroma. Quite dry with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Nice combination of hay-like hops and soothing custardy malt. Really bitter finish.

Cask @ The Bon Accord. Dark golden amber colour, reasonable head. Mild cereal malt aroma. Dry resin glue flavour, citrus aftertaste. Not a good beer.

Cask handpull, The Wig and Pen, Northampton, 07/05/11. Brilliant orange with a slick white collar lacing finely. Good jellied orange and pineapple aroma with hints of herb and pepper. Tangy and pepper-flecked with a ripe orange flesh hop character, fat mouthfeel and flicks of ash, yeast and dry roasted. Sweet and full. Solid.

Cask handpump at The Bell, Banbury, Oxon, 22-03-10 Banbury Beer Festival Meeting. Pours gold with a thin white lacing, fruity and dry in the mouth, some tanginess but there is also a little sweetness consistently showing through this. Another beer that has held up very well. A6 A4 F8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Cask conditioned at The Bell, Banbury. Amber to gold with white head. Really quite hoppy on a reasonable roasty, malt body. Pear skin like with a good drying quality. Enjoyed it.

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2010 Cask conditioned handpump Sun Inn Kislingbury. A golden coloured beer with a thin white head. The aroma has a little tired fruit skins amongst some spicy hops. The taste is fairly full with more decent hop levels but there is a bit of tiredness in there too. Would like to try this fresher. Score 2.9
