Bottle. Golden beer with a strongish head. The aroma is mildy hopped and the flavour is roasted, toffee and hopped. Overall a good bitter.

Cask at Coventry Beer Festival ’08. Gold. Imperceptible aroma, possibly hoppy. Some malt in the taste - almost a hint of wheat. Mid bitter finish This was fair bitter.

Cask conditioned - handpump - OGs Wellingborough. A golden coloured beer with a big white head. The aroma is too thin and has a greenness about it. This follows through into the mildly lemon citric flavours. A short finish and apparently underdeveloped.

Cask Conditioned at Harbury Beer Fest ’04. Straw coloured with thin head. Tea leaf dry bitter, pale, sulphery, peppery. Strongly hopped but a challenge to the tastebuds.
