Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury, Oxon. Amber gold with White Head. Good sulphery aroma, which was a little off putting for some but good for me. Plenty of rich malt in the body and nicely on the dry side without being astringent. Veggie hop finish, perhaps a little cabbagy, but not bad at all. I enjoyed it.

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2011 Cask conditioned - handpump - Coach & Horses, Wellingborough. A cooper coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. The aroma is fruity with some fizzy notes. The taste is fruity with hints of vinegar but more in a sour acceptable way than a nasty infected way. Some wheaty notes and tastes warm. A bit odd to describe and a bit odd to drink. Score 2.9

A Mes rate: gravicask at Peterborough Beer Festival.
Light golden brown with a thin white film. nicely fruity with some reasonable sweetish malt and a stong earthy character. Faint roasty notes and a dry bready finish tha lingers for some time. Not bad at all.
