500ml bottle. Appearance is clear and amber/dark gold. Not much from the aroma but hops. Taste and overall score are high though as i found this so drinkable. Not too exciting for a bitter and not very complex but i thought it was great.

50cl bottle shared by Dutchdrebus. Hazy yellow-golden color, medium sized quickly diminishing white head that leaves fair lacing. Smell malts, slightly butter, lightly some fruits. Taste malts, again slightly butter, lightly fruits and bitterness. No hops really...not very pronounced anyway. Medium carbonation, low to medium body.

Bottle. Clear amber ale with a hoppy aroma with orange. Tastes on the sweeter side of bittersweet with banana. A bit watery but the finish is bitter enough to keep it interesting.

500ml brown bottle from Asda. Hogs Back used to bottle condition, but then some beers got infected, so now they filter (brewery condition is the phrase they use). This is a pleasant caramel and fruit tasting pale amber beer. Some hops provide a balance to the pleasant caramel sweetness. It’s a drinkable and pleasant beer.
