COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Brewery conditioned (filtered)
A light and very refreshing golden ale, named after the many hop gardens that used to be found in the fields surrounding the brewery and throughout the Farnham Valley. Crafted with a fine blend of best English malted barley and fresh local Fuggles hops from one of the last hop farms in the area, Hop Garden Gold is a perfect balance of aroma and bitterness, with a slight hint of fruit and sweetness.

Bottle. Pours a clear light amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma is red fruits, caramel, straw, grains and hints of biscuits, red berries and raisins. Taste is caramel, bitter herbs, red fruits, straw and hints of biscuits and burnt sugar. Medium to light body, medium carbonation. A straight-forward and refreshing enough bitter, without adding anything else to the already well-established canon on English lightweight beers.

See: Golden yellow. Half finger white head. Smell: Subtle, fruity grassy aroma. Taste: Citrus upfront which merges into a malty base and ends with bitter hops. Sweetness persists as you drink on. Pallet: Light body, short finish. Fairly dry. Refreshing golden pale ale. Very nice on a hot day.
