First tasted this in Coanes, Johnstone in April 1992. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale copper in colour with a thin white head. Floral hops and cut grass in the short aroma. Pale malts give a digestive biscuit note laced with soft caramel. Floral hop resins give a herbal note to the long dry aftertaste. Finish is again dry with lemon fruit notes present. An ok session Golden Ale.

Bottle. Bronze beer with a light fizzy head. The aroma is biscuity, and the flavour is biiter, lightly roasted and hopped with a mild yeasty finish. Overall a very average beer.

50 cl bottle.
Pours clear golden yellow colour with small white head which soon dissipates. Aroma is grass, buttery, almost potato-like maltiness, caramel and a hint of fruits. Butter, malts and caramel on the taste also. Very lightly hopped golden ale with a watery mouthfeel and a dry bitter aftertaste.

500 ml bottle. BBE 04/2012.
Pours a copper colour with a very small head. Aroma of grainy malts, honey and grass. Flavour of grainy malts, nuts, caramel and grassy hops. Watery mouthfeel with a mild bitter finish. Boring.

Miksu (4938) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JUL 6, 2011
0.5 l bottle from S-Mestarin herkku, Jyväskylä. Copper color. The aroma is combination of resiny hops and nutty-caramelly malt. The flavor is a bit more on a malt side with caramel and nuts. Resiny hop flavor is restrained and bitterness is at medium. Light bodied, smooth oily palate with low carbonation, very drinkable. At first this feels a very nice session ale but at half bottle the character feels bland. More hops and less caramel would be truer to name.

Nimestä päätellen on armotonta humalalajikkeiden ilotulitusta luvassa. Olut kaatuu tuoppiini tumman kultaisena. On todellakin liikaa hintaa laitettu tuotteelle.
