Amber color, hazy; the head disappears quickly. Mild aroma of malt, caramel and alcohol. Malt flavor, medium bodied, lightly fruity; warming. Overall, quite boring.

Hazy reddish amber color. Aroma of malt, light raisins, some spices. Quite malty, with an evident wooden character (cask), caramel, and sweet liquorice. Quite strong bitterness, adapted to the beer. Warming. Emotionally not impressive, but very pleasant.

Bottle. (Wobble in a bottle). Red-brown with small head. Marmite, fruit (plums), brandy, dry fnish, low carbonation. Went nicely with a lovely Stilton. Better than the Hogs Back Brewsters Bundle that preceeded it.

Bottle: Pours a dark copper brown with a wispy white head. Aroma has nice caramel malty presence with a good English hoppy balance. Nice viscous body starts with a good toasty malty sweetness. Finishes with a nice fresh hoppy bitterness and some sweet, dry caramel malt.

Poured a hazy red-brown color. Sweet aroma of mild cherry and some sugar. also light notes of sweat. Flavor of sweet malt that was short lived. Mild bitter finish. Medium body with a dull mouth feel.

Bottled (Wobble In A Bottle). Deep brown liquor with an orange-red tint and a virtually non-existant head. It has very little aroma and a vinous body that explodes into a warming brandy and grapefruit finish.

Hazy amber color, small head. Sweet malt and grass aroma with some spices and anise hints. Mostly sweet and spicy flavor with liquorice notes. Quite full and different.

An unclear dark red beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma sweet and spicy - especially ginger standing out. The flavor is sweet and spicy, but also with roasted and chocolate notes.

Hogs Back Wobble in a Bottle. Picked up at Hogs Back. Pours cloudy and copper, no head. This is the second strong Hogs Back beer I’ve had and I have to say they are damn ugly but pretty tasty! This one has some doughy character, fruit and sweetness amongst the heavily visibly alcohol content. Tasty.

Bottled: Orange coloured. Hazy. Off white head. Caramel, sweetness and fruit in the aroma. Flavour is fruity, raisiny and has clear alcohol notes. Ends on a light bitter note.
