Bottle picked up from Westholme, Londis, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, had this 11-05-08 This was labelled as Wobble in a Bottle. Hazy mid-amber pour with a creamy off white head that quickly departs. Some sherry like notes on the aroma, alcohol is noticeable though doesn’t really detract from the taste, bit sticky sweet at times, some dried fruits, its quite nice. I thought that it was a bit tight at this strength putting it in a 275ml bottle though, I could understand it if it was 10% or above.

Bottle, from Fin, labeled "Wobble in a Bottle". Thanks mate! Dark copper, small ring of sticky, soapy bubbles. Light caramel aroma, dates, and a whiff of grape flavor--as in the grape flavored gum that 7 year olds think is amazing. Thick sweet rummy flavor, alcohol quite forward, but that actually serves to keep a very sweet beer from being totally cloying, and a sip finishes surprisingly clean. Pleasant sipper, though a little pokey around the edges.

275ml bottle "Wobble in a Bottle". Slightly hazy copper colour with a thin white head;rich tropical fruit aroma;flavour is also very fruity and syrupy; lots of obvious alcohol in the finish.

A Mes rate: 27.5cl bottle from Kris Wines. How many aliases does this have? Was like opening up one of those Russian dolls trying to get to this page. Anyway, excellent colour. Deep dark hazy amber with a slight off white rim and film. Unusual aroma. Nothing stands out as being odd but it’s certainly different. Strong alcohol and barley with some nice fruit and maybe a little terpentine underneath. Sadly fairly unbalanced and sticky in the mouth. Heavy tangy malt and a little to sweet with a really sticky finish. Clear alcohol. Long yeasty finish. Close, but no biscuit.
