I really enjoyed this. In a bottle. Very rich and complex flavours around a medium bodied brew. Some caramel, earthy hops, toast, hints of raisons. I want more ....

Cask at Great British Beer Festival. Weirdly, looks like tea, with a white fluff. Smells a bit like milky tea too. Thank god it doesn't taste like too. Nice mild malty beer. Very suppable and standard. Good session beer.

Bottle from beersofeurope.co.uk. Clear, dark amber, headless. Aroma of grass, Marmite, All Bran, sultanas and honey. Tastes bitter with a medium finish. Slight chocolate. Dry. Some slight fizz in the mouthfeel. Feels heavier than its ABV. Palatable and complex and recommended.

Bottle. A clear, amber beer topped by a small, white head. Caramel, lightly roasted, biscuity malts and citrusy hops on the nose. Pleasant bitterness in the flavor, with a nice fruityness. Some roasted hints, and biscuity malts. Medium body, soft on the palate, with a light bitterness in the end. A tasteful and pleasant beer indeed, but not impressive in any way. 120720
