Pours a dark amber, aroma is of hops and nothing else to speak of. Taste and palate is entirely a strong hop flavor, not much else. Fizzy, high carbonation in this one. Bitter hop aftertaste. Nothing special.

From tap at brewery. Pours a clear dark brownish red with a thin tan head. Some floral notes. A deep amber malt balances out the hop bitterness well. It's a decent ipa. Happy to see more local brewers making my favourite style of brew

JoeZasada (282) - Beaumont, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 6, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear dark brownish red with a thin tan head. Low carbonation. Sweet malty aroma with some floral hop notes. Taste: Moderate bitterness, earth hop notes. Not much for malt notes, minimal aromas. Finish: Bitter, some earthiness, crisp. Kind of a plain jane IPA. Would be improved with more aromatic and flavouring hops, and a tad more carbonation, and something in the malt notes underneath.

Reimer96 (1062) - Alberta, CANADA - SEP 22, 2013
Pours a clear dark amber with a big frothy off white head. Aroma of grapefruit, resin, some tropical fruits and a bit of caramel. Taste is grapefruit, tangerine and caramel. Fairly well banned with a medium carbonation and a bit of sweetness on the finish.

DuffMan (6157) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 25, 2013
Draft sample @ Edmonton Craft Beer Festival. Very dark copper red, low aroma of darkly roasted malts. Roasted malt flavour, a tad thin, with an astringent dry bitter finish (peach pit).

dfearnley (762) - Alberta, CANADA - APR 18, 2013
Draft to pint glass Slight aroma of grapefruit, clementines, and resin. Dark amber with a ring like tan head, tbh not a classic IIPA appearance. Taste is hoppy a a bit sweet with a puckering bitterness at the end.

Deep amber with a slight, off-white head. Sweet, orange fruits, a touch of caramel and herb edge, leading to a hoppy, dry finish.

A nice little hopped up brew, good session style. The pour has a big soapy foamy off white head and a dark murky amber body. The nose is notably hopped with mild resin and moderate citrus fruit aromas. Sweet caramel and toasted malts and a bit of a bland hop character. Medium to full bodied and a nice sweet resinous tinge and a finish of mild hop astrincency. Overall, nice session beer.

reebtogi (3833) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 4, 2013
Poured into a tulip glass from a 64oz growler (from Sherbrooke Liquor) a deep amber color with a small white head that leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is tropical fruits and citrus with hints of caramel. Taste is a caramel and tropical fruity sweetness with a grapefruit hop bitterness. Flavors are nicely balanced. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Not sure how long the growler was on the shelf at Sherbrooke liquor, but did not release as much CO2 as the Death by Pumpkin when opening. Still, this is a very solid IPA and is definitely recommended.
