2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Appearance: Clear golden lager, frothy white head fades quickly, visible effervescence.
Aroma: Sour apples, creamed corn, and toasted white bread.
Flavour: Bready flavour, sickly sweetness, mild hop bitterness in the finish.
Mouthfeel: A little bit astringent, with a raspy metallic tang, moderately high carbonation, medium light body. Slightly sour aftertaste.
Overall: I had this a few weeks ago and liked it much more. Maybe something happened to this one. Will try again on draft sometime.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
473ml can. Pours a clear pale gold with an off-white head. Aroma is pretty malt heavy, sweet Austrian style malt notes, and light straw. Slightly sweet, with more heavy malt notes, good minerality, and some woody/straw notes in the finish. This is totally solid, and one of the better Ontario lagers on the market. It’s just unfortunate I can get something of the same quality from Europe for so much less.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Light Aroma with floral or grassy scent. Golden and clear with an active head. Decent carbonation.
Light flavour but with an overpowering taste of tin. (From the can?) Seemed to improve as the tongue acquainted itself.
Slightly bitter finish. Extremely light beer for 5.2%.
Not really my cup of tea.

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2013 Poured from can. Meduim golden colour with minimal head and slight lacing. Grainy aroma, seemed sweet. Taste same. Sweet and refreshing. Fairly light body, with minimal bitterness. Quite good overall.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled at the Great Canadian Beer Festival. Grainy, ’organic’ yeast/malt combo. Well-hopped, finishes lightly bitter. Smooth-drinking and tastier than most of the weekend’s other lagers.

Can, shared with TylerDurden. Alright, so if you don’t use any adjuncts, then why does your lager smell like dirty dishrag shit? Sweet grainy mess ofa palate. Fuck this-- the Romanian lager we had last night was way better than this shit.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours fool’s gold blonde with meagre lacing. Crisp with an almost apple juice tongue. Inoffensive. Could drink one before work & not raise an eyebrow.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This beer pours a crystal clear straw colour, with a medium white head. The aroma is of straw, caramel, oatmeal, and cereal. Tasting notes include caramel, light malts, crackers, slight bitterness. This is a pleasant unoffensive beer perfect for people who are new to craft beers.
