Our inaugural and flagship style is a European-inspired lager with superior flavour derived from using only premium ingredients combining three malt types (2-Row, Munich and Vienna), unique Saaz hops and German lager yeast. The result is a crisp, flavourful lager experience.

Can Appearance: Clear golden lager, frothy white head fades quickly, visible effervescence. Aroma: Sour apples, creamed corn, and toasted white bread. Flavour: Bready flavour, sickly sweetness, mild hop bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel: A little bit astringent, with a raspy metallic tang, moderately high carbonation, medium light body. Slightly sour aftertaste. Overall: I had this a few weeks ago and liked it much more. Maybe something happened to this one. Will try again on draft sometime.

473ml can. Clear amber with a foamy white head. Flavors are cereals and honey with grassy and fruity notes. Light body, moderate carbonation, slick texture.

Can’t believe I haven’t seen any comments about a diacatyl issue. Full buttered popcorn on this brew. Getting some caramel and toffee on the nose, but can’t get much through the popcorn sweetness. I am not a fan of this style of lager so my review may be a bit biased (i really dislike vienna/munich showcased in lagers, i know. octoberfest is hard for me). I think I tried this when it was labelled as a kolsch and found the same diacatyl issue, but could be thinking of something else.

Tall boy can: Solid pub lager - creamy finish but no real complexity. Colour is reminiscent of a macro but with a wet bread and malty cereal aroma, very aromatic. Easy drinking, no aftertaste. I’d chose over a macro any day of the week but not my 1st pick.

This is pretty indistinct. Pour is pretty blah: decent colour but no life to it whatsoever. Nose is mix of grainy sweetness and acidity. Taste is sweet grainy malt with a teasing hint of Saaz spice on a slightly dry finish. Body is medium but the carbonation is pretty soft, borderline flat. Pretty meh overall.

Rien! pours a light orange with grassy aroma. flavour is strong lager malt with good hop character. As a typical North American lager, I was quite impressed with the full flavour found in this one. Great work in bringing life to a typically-boring style.
