COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It has a forward flavor of roasted malt, (crystal chocolate and brown) leading the way with hints of coffee chocolate and roasted nut. Finishes with astringent roasted malt combined with the earthy character of the single addition Fuggles hop in a semi-dry smooth finish.

(Draught) pours deep black, thick almost nitro like tan head. Nose is nutty, cream, super chocolaty grain, milk chocolate, rich, complex and smells great. Taste of malt balls, medium dark chocolate, cream, light hops to balance everything. Nice beer.

On cask. Pours black with amazing head retention. Chocolate, caramel, toffee, and a nuttiness. Very clean, dry finish. Fantastic. What the style should strive to be.

From growler. Pour is cola brown with no head. Nose has a light roast, a decent bit of coffee grounds, and lots of rich chocolate malty goodness. Taste isn’t quite as rich as the nose but has similar components, roasted malt and coffee grounds with a light bitterness. The rich chocolate malt isn’t quite as strong but still there. Chewy full body, decent carbonation and a crisp finish.

Draft - he topped it with something special, so not pure. Chocolaty biscuit. Jet black with a rich beige head. Dark roast malts, chocolate and more of that biscuit. Chocolate Peek Freen.

Medium brown with reddish accent. Bubbly head. This one is keg. Has a chocolatey, fudgey aroma. Fairly rich taste, chocolatey character but with a pretty good amount of hop bitterness. Good dry porter.
