I tried this beer on draught on June 22, 2012 at "C’est What" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a very translucent gold colour with a thin snow white head. The aroma was grainy malt, cereal, and some weak floral hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt, cereal, with a weak bitter finish. Not a huge fan of Kolschs

Alright for style. Aroma of malt and honey. Pours a nice golden blond - not pissy. Not much head and a little lacing. Has some honey bitterness and a little sweetness. On tap at volos.

[4561-20120622] Tap. Not much aroma, maybe some straw. Clear, yellow brown body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Lightly sugared grains flavour has a fairly sweet aftertaste. Light-medium body. Nice to sample. (4/4/5/3/12) 2.8

Spab (1646) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 30, 2012
On tap at the Only. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with smallish white head. Aroma is very sweet fruit and wheat. Flavour is sweet slightly sour fruit, mostly berry, that gives a sort of wine-like flavour and wheat. Average body. Decent.

Light hazy gold-blond with fine carb and creamy white head. Sweet crisp and hoppy with sweet apple, white grapes, lemon. Very enjoyable. Does it remind me of Kölsch? Never.

Aroma soft creamy, grainy front Tad too soft. Mild plain malt sweetness behind. 6-
Appearance good, clear golden ale with medium white top. Some lace was noted. 3+.
Flavor and Palate : medium light bodied. Leafy with citric streak hop note. Softer palate in the middle. More approachable as it warms up. Soft walls at mid end. Good.

pootzboy (1451) - Hawgville, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 6, 2012
On tap at Gig’s: very pale straw color, small cap. Virtually no aroma to this. Thin body, thin mouthfeel. Profile is two dimensional - weak malt presense with some light hop bite - fast clean finish. I drink a lot of Kolsch but this is a poor representation of the style - this tastes more like a commercial US pilsner. There are no bad or off tastes just weak flavour, thin, vapid and uninspired. I hope this brewer’s next offering is a bit more substantial.

Lubiere (8247) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 2, 2012
A clear golden kolsch with a thin white head. In aroma, a smooth crisp biscuit malt with a light chalky notes. In mouth, a smooth crisp malt with light chalk notes, German hops, not bad. On tap at Session 99, June 23, 2012.

2012-06-22. Crisp dark yellow, small foamy white head. 3+ Sweetish pale malt, odd grainy cereally accents, bready notes. Odd aroma, lightly yeasty-funky floral notes, mild cereally grains. 5+ Smooth average palate. Not my cup of tea. On tap at C’est What Summer Festival of Craft Breweries, Toronto
