Our flagship Kolsch Style Ale is a delicate blonde ale inspired by the wonderful beers brewed in the German city of Cologne. This is a Kolsch-style beer with a strong malt backbone, nice floral aroma and a lingering hoppy bite. A perfect "session" beer, light and smooth enough to be refreshing yet will leave you pondering as you explore the depth of flavours!

Malted and Carmel flavor. Draft pour in Toronto somewhere. Not good at all, maybe had it before

Can from Tony. Clear golden, aroma of well...not much. Light malt, easy drinking, could be any generic style, didnt even recognize it was a kolsch. Ok?

Can. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy weak buttery aroma. Fruity malty grainy weak caramel and weak buttery flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy finish.

It says ale, but it has refreshing taste and clear appearance of lager. Is it caused by the low-temperature fermentation? Big white head disappears quickly. Floral.hop on the tongue, and it remains in the mouth. Caramel, metal, a bit sweet. Not bad, but not the best. maybe not the second time. Ate with cheese on seaweed, takana, and kimchi. So good.

Can from the LCBO. Deep brown-tinted straw body with a fizzy head which dissipated quickly. The predominance of the diacatyl/buttered popcorn on the nose is so stupidly huge it almost works, almost, With the toffee and caramel malt flavors coming together this beer is like a carnival in a can. One of the beers I’ve tasted recently that is so off-putting on the label which seems to suit a rauchbier or that brewery on dragon’s den which tried to pitch a bacon infused beer. Some vanilla and soy on the nose also. Very sessionable. The only example of a beer that seems to fit the film category of "its so bad, it’s good." Great session ale, but I’m not quite sure its a kolsch.

Tall can. Clear gold, big white head. Nose is very crackery with floral. Flavour is slight sweetness with crisp cracker again, yeah finish... is crackery again, quite sweet after the first few sips. Buttery. Absolutely does not bear any resemblance to any kolsch I’ve had, yeah diacetyl problems.

went camping and my brother in law throws a brown paper bag at me filled with pint sized beers and says, "Nate went to Canada and brought these back for your rateBeer ticks." I paraphrased a little but you get the idea. It was skunky.

On tap @ Crooked Star. Clear medium gold, two-finger white crown. I’m not sensitive to diacetyl, but wow this is a massive mouthful of buttered popcorn.Nothing that suggest kolsch whatsoever, just a grainy butter bomb. Didn’t finish it.

Can from the magnificent man that is HogTownHarry. Thanks Harry. Can drunk at home. Clear gold, very thin sparse white head. Not a great aroma, some syrupy lager malt. It has some pale lager malt, it has minimal hop. It’s not a very good beer, but then Harry told me that. It’s not a very good beer, some syrupyness. Even with my goodwill towards the donor, this isn’t a good beer. Some sting on the finish.

Can from lcbo. Pours a cloudy gold with a white head. Malty, light honey, corn aroma... Medium body, medium carbonation. Light honey, caramel, bread, metal, corn, cereal... It's poor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
