Bottle 500ml (from BZ)
Clear deep amber color, small off-white head. Bready malty aroma with some grassy and chocolaty notes. Medium-bodied. Flavor is bready and caramalt sweetness. Some fizzy carbonation. Well-brewed sweetish, malty dunkel.

Pours an amber brown, looking not too disimilar to a Bitter, minimal head retention. Aroma is sweet caramel malt, molasses and slightly nutty berry type notes. Taste is definitely sweet, mild bitterness but also slightly astringent. Slightly cloying and sticky in the mouth but the carbonation levels that out nicely. Overall a decent beer.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep amber with a decent creamy head. Nose - toffee and sweet malt. Taste - more of the same and with some fresh citrus on the finish. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a balanced dry finish. Overall - a decent example.

Bottle enjoyed at Grunting Growler pop-up bar in Glasgow. Poured a dark amber with a thin head. Aroma, a nutty caramel. Taste, somewhat sweet malty with a molasses and slightly astringent finish. Went nicely with my pulled pork brioche from ’Breaking Bread Street Food’.

Daumen hoch !

Bottle from Bierspezialitäten Armin Kotterheidt. The beer pours out in a deep dark brown colour with low, steady head and medium body. Aroma of malt and barley with some grainy hints. Taste of roasted malt, barley, dark berries, bread and grainy. Dusty and grainy finsih. Drinkable.

50cl bottle pours with a clear amber body the has some deep red hues and supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up lots of caramel covered dark bread as well as some light fig and prune notes. The taste is a little thick and a little on the sweet side but not too bad. I get caramel malts, fig and date like sweet dark fruity esters as well as molasses and a mineral sensation. Tasty Dunk!

Bootleg at home- 23rd Feb 2014, from a trade with Hans Peter. Pours a copper beer colour. Initial minor gusher. Pours with frothy head with quickly retreats to nothing. Zero lacing. Aroma is sweet berry malts. Taste is bready malts, quite sweet. Body is low/moderate. Not much carbonation. Refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
