Bottle 50cl, a clear yellow beer with medium head. Nose is grassy hops with a cider like touch. Aroma is on grain, toasted caramel, grassy and peppery hops, kind of corn sugar notes, body is medium to low. Finish has vegetable notes, bit watery, wet paper hints.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe: poured into an old stemmed 0.2 litre Pilsner glass I like to taste German beers in. This is the first beer of a tasting session I am having with myself tonight: just me and the dog! Very pale: light golden body, bright, clean and clear, on top a snow white head of bubbles with each pour. Odourless, gets a score of 3 for an none smelling Lager/Pils/Hell. Taste is both of grains and metallic flavours, corn in a tin! Bitter finish but otherwise not a lot going on. Might be fine in a Beer Garden with the sun on your back but it’s a wet cold winters evening here and the beer has done nothing for me except make me ’burp’ because of the carbonation within it’s make-up.

0,5l Euro-Flasche statt der NRW Flasche. Das Bier hat jetzt auch 5,0%. Goldgelb klare Farbe, schaum zerfällt schnell. Stumpfes Hopfenaroma ohne Frucht. Geschmack ist grassig-getreidig. Kaum Abgang. Enttäuschend.
