COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

WEISSER BOCK HESSEN CIDRE

Bottle:Clear, golden, a bit sparkling, lemony-apply nose, traces of sulphur or tartness are hard to find; mild sourish-sweetish flavour, light bodied; short finish with the same flavours as in the aroma and a pretty subdued tartness. Not bad at all! An easy-drinking, sparkling and refreshing Cider…

Bottle. A clear, golden cider with a small white head. The aroma is pretty weak, sweet apples mostly, not much more to detect. It’s pretty dry on the palate, almost puckering, with flavors of apples and a little fruity sweetness. Short finish with some metal. A quite decent one, but not very exciting. 140228

Bottled at Quodlibet, Marburg. Golden body, no surprise there. Light dusty appley nose, light notes of glue. Balanced mild taste, soft rounded mouthfeel, Nice sweet appley notes, very light dust, light tartness in the finish, extremely light sulphur. Not near the brilliance of the Elm but far more respectable than the below average / crappy stuff that I’d had lately.

Bottle. Yellow colour, unstable white head. Aroma of old apples and white wine. Flavour is watery, but does taste of apples. A little sweet, but not too much. Citric apple aftertaste.
