A Mes rate. Bottle at home.
Pale yellow with a bubbly white film. Bright tarty apples. Really refreshing. Thin tarty finish. Not much going on but it’s ok.

Tasted from 1l bottle @ Frankfurt Airport Lounge. Ha! A nice little treat well hidden behind all the Becks. This is clouded pale yellow cider with no head what so ever. Aroma has yeasty apples, a little alcohol and strange hints of cabbage and vanilla? Really flat on the carbonation and a near sticky mouthfeel. Sour and light yeasty on the flavors. Apples yes, and it has some notes of white sugar and rhubarb in the finish. Mah, drinkable but not as treaty as I had hoped.

Bottle 100cl.

Clear light to medium yellow color with a initial white - virtually none head. Aroma is moderate apple, sour apples, sweet apples, wrinkled apples. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, tart apple, thin like real cider watered, apple juice alike. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110319]

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It’s a clear, golden cider with some white bubbles on top. Farmyard, apples and some lemon in the aroma. Dry and medium bodied, a bit flat. The flavor has apples and apple cores, some acidity. A bit short finish. A quite decent one, a cider I could drink some glasses of when thirsty. Nothing special though. 110319

Maria (8589) - Thisted, DENMARK - OCT 20, 2010
Made of 100% apple, no sugar added. It’s golden and has a nice, mild aroma og refreshing apples. The flavour is moderately sweet and dry with apple-sour and refreshing notes of apples. It’s charming and very straightforward to drink.

(bottle, 100cl) Clear, pale golden colour without any head. Sour apple-fruity nose with a light musty touch and traces of sulfur. Moderately sour flavour, light to medium bodied. Dry and moderately tart mouthfeel; dry and tart, almost a bit astringent apple-fruity finish with obvious notes of sulphur in the aftertaste. One of the few supraregional Hessian Applewines in Germany. 17.VIII.10

Bottle at MesandSim’s tasting Aug 09. Thanks to Chriso for this one. Clear pale gold. Some clean apple flesh flavour, not huge character, some acidity on finish. Ok

An airport lounge free rating, this time, Frankfurt; 1L bottle
Muddy blond color, no head. The aroma is light, sourish and lightly fruity; and there is plastic too. The body is medium-thin, with no carbonation, with light sourness and again a light plastic side; some astringency in the end is perhaps the only positive side in this otherwise bad cider.
