Fresh apple aroma with strong underlying caramel malts and some English style of hops. Somewhat chewy, with some chocolate. Not all that bad, really. Shiny copper color, bubbles slowly rising, lace. Looks a bit like fresh apple juice. Tastes just like sweet apple juice mixed with rich, malty, English style pale ale. Apples, caramel, some earthy hops. The apple juice is too sweet a variety for it to be great, but it almost works well. Earthy, slightly bitter finish. Quite refreshing. It would be great if they could get juice from a more sour variety of apple. Says there is some spice in it, and I sense just a touch, maybe cinnamon. Not at all bad. The best of this series so far.
