Brewed with sake rice grown in Nagano, it is dry Junmai that can also enjoy either cold or hot. Smoked salmon and ricotta cheese with dill is a good match for Hokko Junmai.

It pours transparent, clear, with a hint of green. The aroma has notes of: rice-pudding, alcohol, and bitter-pear. The taste is medium dry with light astringency; pears, alcohol, medium-full bodied, very smooth, and medium finish. Overall, very good for the price - excellent buy.
