COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At least one a day. This, the most popular brand in the Pivovar Holba, a.s. range, has an unusually rich flavour and the perfect tang of bitter hops.

When you for whatever reason end up in N-E Bohemia, don’t forget to drop-by in Hanusovice. I reach for Serak whenever I can get my hands on it. The beer has a nice head retention, herbal nose and is well-rounded palate-wise. The only downside is that it is only available in Hanusovice region. And, of course, it is best from barrel.

Bottle from Albert. Genuine golden color. For a pilsener really great aroma. Medium bitterness on palate, somewhat stronger towards the finish. Honest 11°. Good one.

Bottle from Pivonka, Hradec Kralove. Pours a clear golden body with no visable carbonation, but a huge creamy white head. Aroma is grainy, sugary caramel, some hops as well. Taste is light sweet, with a nice crisp grassy hop presence.Lively mouthfeel. Nice long hoppy finish.

Pours a very clear light yellow gold. . . balanced aroma where hops and malt are dancing in unison. Flavours of chewy dough, dry yellowed grass and wet hop cones. Not as complex as some others have seemed on my trip, but still clean, refreshing and easy drinking.

i have a bit of a soft spot for moravian pilsners. this had a full malty, rockmelon sweetness and some restrained tea-like hops giving it quite a dry finish

Can 0,5L. Beautiful golden color, white head. Strong aroma of hops. Hoppy flavor, but feel malt too.

Small white head. Clear coppery body. Grainy minty aroma with fruity notes. Dryish grainy minty taste with roasty notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry minty grassy floral aftertaste with caramelly papery notes. Nice, drinkable, has character. (0.33l draft at Oluthuone Kaisla, Helsinki.)

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of faroeviking. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Sweet malty nose with flowery hops. Medium body, some malts and a fairly hoppy finsh. But decent. 180211
