COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor's note: This beer was formerly known as Holbæk IPA.
The bottled version has been brewed at Herslev Bryghus and holds 6.5% ABV.

Danish: Lys, frugtig ale efter engelsk forbillede med masser af smag fra Marris Otter malten og den originale Whitbread gær. Duften er krydret med Saazer humle, og den fyldige øl har tydelig humlekarakter.

English: A light, fruity English inspired ale with lots of flavour from the Marris Otter malts and the original Whitbread yeast. The aroma is spiced with Saazer hops and the full-bodied beer has a distinct hop character.

Tap. Golden color with a nice white head. Nice hopy aroma. The taste is a balanced body with a light hoppy palate. Comes off a little thin and lacking a bit of hops. But nice nonetheless.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy amber coloured with a medium sized beige head. Aroma of malts with notes of fruits and hops. Sweet flavour with notes of fruits, malts and hops. Light hoppy finish. The body is a bit thin. More English Pale Ale than Indian Pale Ale.

(On tap) Hazy orangey golden with a small, creamy head of a very fine structure. It collapses rather quickly though. Low carbonation. Weak floral aroma. Lovely fruitiness on the base of a rather light body. Dry, short bitterness - but not an overpowering one. I miss some more potency and some real ale/IPA hops instead of Saazer. As of now this has too much of a Pilsener feel. 230805

Aroma: almost like pilsener. Very soft IPA with a note almost like honey. Lavks co2 but according to the brewer this will be corrected.

Draught, at No. 5. Golden with little head, fully diminishing, no lacings. Aroma moderate malty, moderate/heavy hoppy (flowers) and light yeasty. Flavor modaret sweet and hoppy. Light to medium body, oily, flat. Comment: The carbonation system was not working properly; waiting for another try.
