Shared bottle courtesy of Mike Murphy. Deep clear brown with a light brown film. Yeast, roasted, and burnt malts, barrel oak and fine spirits in the aroma with milky notes. More roasted and burnt notes released in the mouth, with dark dried fruits and coffee added. Sweet, acidic and bitter flavors and an oily texture and a dry finish. Medium body.

Draught. Mild roasted and vinous aroma. Black colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is mild with some paper and coffee. Well-rounded.

Bottle @ Kolding Ølmesse, 2012. Pours ruby amber with a off white head. Vague roast and fruit. Very little bourbon. Hints of vanilla. Medium bodied. Easy, clean and harmless.

Black coloured. Has a light brown head, mostly diminishing. Aroma is toasted, acid, faint vanilla. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate acidic, light bitter finish. Dry texture and lively carbonation.

Bottle. Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark red-brown colour. Light bitter flavor. Some roast. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, coffee and hops.

Bottle, it pours picth black with large fluffy tan head.... the aroma is rye, bread, malt... the flavor is burned malt, alcohol, rye, chocolate..... bitter finish.... tiny body ..... there is no bourbon flavors to find...... I can not .....

Bottle. Pours black with a medium beige head. The aroma is liquorice, light roast, coffee and some plastic note. The flavour is plastic, hard roasted malt, coffee, bitter malt, just faint hops and some dark fruit. Cant really find any bourbon in here.

500 ml bottle @ Melkebaren, Sandnes. Dark brown body with a nice, dense beige head. Relatively mild aroma of roasted malt, bourbon and wood. Flavor is roasted malt, caramel, bourbon and chocolate. Medium body with a bourbon whisky and bitter aftertaste. Some warming alcohol, but this feels surprisingly mild for the style. Nice but nothing outstanding.
