Bottle, 50cl. Pours a clear and brown beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is ginger, malt and sage. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is spices and sweetness. Overall a beer with too much spices.

Way to carbonated for my taste. A strong taste of ginger. Color is balck with a creamy head.

Black with a lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and rather spicy - ginger. lavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted light bitter finish. High carbonation. 170312

Bottle. Frothy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Dark red amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Very strong ginger and sage notes. Average moderate bitter fniish. Oily palate.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are dominated by sage and orange. Some roast malt as well. Bad combination.

Bottle, It pours dark brown with an large fluffy tan head.... the aroma is loads sage, hard roasted grains and spices... The flavor is also loads of sage, ginger, dark caramel, roasted grain and spices..... alcohol is well hidden.... thin finish .... fresh.....medium body....

0.5 L bottle from SuperBest, Nykøbing Sjælland. Tall coarse, tanned head. Body is dark brown to black with limited clarity. Smell of roasted coffee and burnt caramel. A note of ginger and anise. The sage added is also noticable. Medium strong malt body. Flavors of roasted coffee, cocoa and nuts. Fairly dry. Anise and licorice tones from the herbs. The beer is quite lively. Sharp, almost pungent mouthfeel. Lots of herbs in the ending. Almost there, a bit too spiced for my likings.

Bottle. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is Sage, ginger, malt. Flavour is sage, ginger, hop, malt, spices, licorice. Medium body. OK beer.

Draught(?) at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Dark brown, minimal head. Aroma of ginger and choclate. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and chocolate, lots of ginger. Low bitterness.

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Very deep amber colour, close to black, small brown head. Aroma is spruce, liquorice and mild fark fruits along with some nutty notes as well. Flavour is quite much the same. Pleasantly balanced. Quite much gingery notes in the finish as well.
