COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor's note: This beer was formerly known as "Holbæk Påskebryg", but got its new name in March 2007
The bottled version has been brewed at Herslev Bryghus.

English: A blending beer of two different brews with the same malt profile (57% Pale Ale malt, 28% Cara malt, 15% Pilsener malt and some oatmeal) but fermented with two different yeast strains: Whitbread Pale Ale and a Belgian Abbey Ale yeast. Boiled with Target, late addition of Styrian Goldings which are also used for the dry hopping.

From partyfass. A hazy orange beer with an OK orange head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of oranges, but also with light notes of both hops, and butter. The flavor is sweet with light notes of both hops, and fruit - especially peaches comes to mind, but also a hint of butter.

Draught Clear gold-orange; good, very dense & fine head, NOT nitro however (Partyfass). Good pale + coloured malts, parsley, and a tad meaty nose. Dry coloured malts and some fine low-α acid hops. Retronasal however some butyric acid or similar. Medium bodied, bit slick. Good beer, more like a lager than an ale. Special thanks to the Danish raters that just ordered the Fass and bestowed a sample on me, on top of all the rest!

Sampled from 5L Partyfass. Light sweet aroma, and very buttery, notes of cooked vegetables. Copper colored body with a small white head. Buttery and kind of sweetish flavor, light metallic in the end. Pure butterjuice.

Draught, at No. 5. Light orange with a creamy white head, mostly diminishing, ok lacings. Aroma moderate malty (bread), light hoppy and yeasty (citrus). Flavor moderate sweet, light bitter. Light to medium body, oily, flat/soft carbonated. You don’t feel the alcohol, but it is there.

(On tap) Slightly hazy honey golden with a small, creamy, off-white head leaving some laces before dissipating. Soft, malty nose. Rather light body with very fruity accents - some peach perhaps. Some build up of a dry hoppiness on the palate. The alcohol is surprisingly well hidden for a strong, pale ale - but don’t be fooled - it’s definitely there. 090306
