Cask conditioned handpump Three Cocks Kettering 21/08/13. An orange coloured beer with a white bubbly head and lace. A pretty good citrussy beer with nice fruits in nose and good bittering hops in the mouth with a good body. A lot of character and good flavours. Liked it.

Cask @ The Great Western during the RB Black Country Bash. The pour’s gold with a small head. The nose is honeyed bread. A touch of diacetyl, butter. Some cantaloupe. The taste is more cantaloupe, summer fruit salad. Honeyed bread. A bit of grain. Fairly light, approachable. Soft carbonation. Overall, a pretty nice golden number.

Had on cask at Far from the maddening crowd in Oxford. Fairly hoppy ( by British standards) golden colored ale. Fruity notes. A drinkable beer and nice to finally taste some hops.

Great Western, Wolverhampton.
Hand-pulled half-pint during the RB Black Country Bus Tour on 6 Jul 2013.
Good golden look to the body: medium head that held.
Floral to fruity nose with lightly baked malts giving an interesting though fairly weak aroma blend.
The taste followed the smells, but stronger, pleasant but no world beater. Semi-sweet feel with a mild bitter finish.

Cask conditioned at The Great Western Arms, Wolverhampton. Gold to amber with white head. Flowery, perfumed notes, quite astringent in character, bitter, touch of tartness. I wasn’t over keen on this.
