Cask @ The Salopian, Shrewsbury. It actually does have a kind of golden glow. Smooth caramel flavours, a faint air of citrus, easily quaffable, not a bad drop.

Cask @ The Great Western during the RB Black Country Bash. The pourís gold with a small head. The nose is fairly straightforward for a golden. Some honey, pear, apple. Summery and fresh. The taste is mildly hoppy, floral. A bit of lemon citrus tang. Soft white bread. Light body, fine carbonation. Overall, a perfectly decent golden ale.

Black Country Beano. Cask in the Great Western. Clear gold beer, tidy white head. Light palate, semi dry with fine carbonation. Mild marmalade hops. Light sweet malt. Light floral touch. Finishes dry with a marmalade bitter aftertaste. Third beer in the same pub that looks and tastes like a Golden, but says on RB itís a bitter!

Clear golden with a thin white head.

Ok stuff - more golden blonde than bitter for me.
