dnas2 (522), Yelverton, Devon., Devon, England May 12, 2008 Cask. June 2007. Light amber with a short head. Sugar and toffee in the scent. Really bitter. Nice body with some sweetness and a slightly dry finish. Slightly sugary-biscuity taste, and a hint of citrus fruits but this is nearly masked by the overwhelming hops and bitter. imdownthepub (3995), Banbury, Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, England Jun 17, 2007 Cask conditioned at The Wheatsheaf, West Bromwich, W.Midlands. Yellow to straw with white head. Quite a thin body for the ABV, biscuity malt with a light flowery bittersweet hop note. Part of the Saints and Sinners range, which I am reliably informed are blends. Its ok without being spectacular. Lovely pub though to start our Black Country tour.
