COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Special - June 2007 (Saints & Sinners series).
Sunflower yellow in colour with a bold and boisterous citrus hop aroma, which leads to a solid malty depth of flavour, which, finishes in an audaciously bitter biting aftertaste. Not for the faint hearted!

Cask conditioned at The Wheatsheaf, West Bromwich, W.Midlands. Yellow to straw with white head. Quite a thin body for the ABV, biscuity malt with a light flowery bittersweet hop note. Part of the Saints and Sinners range, which I am reliably informed are blends. Its ok without being spectacular. Lovely pub though to start our Black Country tour.

Cask@Market Porter, London. Deep golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, malty and qite floral as well. Flavour is nectar, resiny notes, mild honey as well as some slight wood. A bit sweet and bitter in a strange way in the finish.

Cask at the Doric Arches, Euston, June 2011. Dark gold, thin head. Another English bitter, this one a bit stronger than in its previous internation. Malt, yeasty finish, English fruity hops. Not very exiting.

Cask. June 2007. Light amber with a short head. Sugar and toffee in the scent. Really bitter. Nice body with some sweetness and a slightly dry finish. Slightly sugary-biscuity taste, and a hint of citrus fruits but this is nearly masked by the overwhelming hops and bitter.
