COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Special - July 2008. Part of the 2008 Sporting Nicknames series.
A very drinkable tawny coloured beer.
The balance of malt and bitterness is followed by a clean, hoppy aftertaste, which is cleaner than a cricketer's whites!

Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Clear amber with white head. Fruity malty aroma leading to a sharp malted body with hints of dried apricot in the flavour profile. Dry and slightly demanding to drink. Reasonable, but wouldn’t return to it.

Cask, Beamish Mary, No Place, Co Durham. Hazy darkish brown, thin muddy colour head. Malty/hoppy aroma. Flavour similar with some fruit evident. Quite refreshing, but finish wasn’t really there.
