Pours a dark golden color with a decent head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, some citrus and bit of grain in the background. Taste of citrus, some caramel sweetness and bit of roasted malt. Mild bitterness and the finish is quite dry. Moderate body,smooth and a nicely balanced. Good take on the style.

super fresh from tap. very fruity and nice hop flavor througout without much bitterness though.. slightly watery but super drinkable,,, great session beer

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malty and bitter hoppy, The flavour is medium bitter, malty with some slightly floral hoppy notes on the palate. A super pale ale it must be said and a very appropriate session beer.

Unfortunately, there is a theme developing with Holgate; average beers that are close, but just lacking that extra punch needed to be a good beer. This beer is OK but I would not go back.

Aroma is sweet and full of galaxy (or similar) hops. Flavour has less of the sweetness but just as much hop flavour. Refreshing pale ale

Golden amber colour. Light, fast disappearing head with some lacing. Stong aroma of passionfruit that follows through in the taste. Light malt comes through at the end. An unusual balance for an APA. Quite pleasant.

On tap. Dark clear amber with a fluffy but dissipating head. Aromas of tropical fruit and pine are well defined. Taste is a blend of lemon, floral notes, and resinous hops over a solid malt backbone. Fresh and satisfying. The tastes linger on the palate. Liked this one.

330ml bottle pours a golden color with a small white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is flowery with some grass and and other grains. Taste is a grainy malty sweetness with some pleasant hop bitterness. Light to medium body with adquate carbonation. Much better than I anticipated and was surprised at the quality of this brew.

330ml bottle. golden honey in colour with a nice white head. Nice balance of malt and hops, with a subtle ho bitterness finish.

A beautiful and unique example of a Pale Ale. Deliciously fruity hop aromas combine with the rich biscuity malt flavours to make a highly drinkable beer.
