The perfect accompaniment to any summer day! Road Trip is an American IPA brewed with three varieties of hops from the Pacific Northwest of the US. This beer was inspired by a recent trip made by the Holgate family to the states of Washington and Oregon, which enjoy a thriving craft brewing industry.

330ml Bottle. Copper coloured with a fluffy white head. Strong pine, toffee and grapefriut aromas, with hints of spice and orange. Malty flavour, with notes of herb and an earthy character. Bitterness with grapefruit and resin notes in the finish. Relatively long finish and a light to medium body, decent beer.

Draught. Mid-gold body, small white head & lace, good clarity. Good aroma, typically American hop affair; grapefruit, pine, dried grassy herbs, a helping of biscuity malt underneath. Full bodied, quite resiny & slick, moderate carbonation. Delivers woody hops, bitter citrus, as expected. Decent amount of toasted malt. Firm bitterness with moderately long finish. Pretty standard AIPA, can’t fault it.

on tap at the union in newtown - too bad it didn’t have such a selection of aussie beers on tap when i used to live around the corner. anyways, better late than never. rich golden, clear with a minimal head; juicy aroma of pine and mango; some mango weis bar flavour, strange but pleasant hints of vanilla and chocolate ice cream, heaps of bitterness. probably the best local beer i found in a few summer weeks back in oz

Pours a copper orange with a cloudy haze. Head is white and holds relatively well. Excellent carbonation that is pleasant on the tongue. Aromas are herbal, with grapefruit, grapes, citrus. Flavour reflects this, with the addition of an initial malty flavour that brings out toffee and caramel. This beer doesn’t have the initial hop punch of most IPA’s, Excellent finishing hops, makes this a great session IPA

0,33l bottle, Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur.
Clear golden beer, small fizzy white head. Easy aroma of grapes, tropical fruits, mango, resin. The body is easy as well, but with a good balanced hoppiness with resin, mango, tropical fruits. Fine.

Aroma: Strong pine notes followed by grapefruit with hints of lychee and mango. Taste: Strong malt start immediately followed by pine and grapefruit mellowed out by mango and rounded out my a kychee finish with an astringent finish. Appearance: Brown to yellow with a foamy head.

1L squealer. Pours clear copper with a small white head and a very nice piney/tropical fruit aroma with from toffee notes. Big tropical fruity hit in the flavour with a pronounced bitterness. Amazing aussie beer.
