From a growler- dark orange in colour. Nice citrus hop aromas. Nice malty taste up front and finishes with a lovely hop bitterness. Very yummy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice apricot colour with lingering beige head. Aroma is almost like honey. Flavour is also sweet with the usual stonefruit flavours but there also seems to be honey flavour on the palate too which is a bit strange. Finish is resinous pine hops. Overall ok, but not the most memorable beer out there.

One of the better offerings, however, it is still an average run-of-the-mill IPA. OZ has some very good IPA’s out now which are much better eg the hog!

Tap. Floral, citrus aromas. Beautiful deep red/amber in the glass. Sweet at first, but with a long bitter finish.

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber, with a medium off-white head, which lasts fairly well and leaves reasonable lacing. The aroma is dominated by sweet kecap manis soy sauce, which is a bit off-putting, and masks all other aroma bar a little caramel malt. Thankfully there is no soy in the flavour, which offers grapefruit and pine resin hops up front, moderated by a slight sweet, fruity flavour. These lead into smooth caramel malt, which gives way to more resin hops in the finish. Aside from the less than excellent aroma this is an enjoyable, if fairly straightforward, IPA.

Bottle from Mrs Parmas! Pours a copper read with small head. Aromas all of grapefruit, passionfruit and maybe some orange or mango. Taste is nice hop bitterness with some lingering grapefruit. Good beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From tap at brewery. Golden amber. Frothy small head. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavour upfront. Some caramel sweetness in the middle followed by some solid, sharp bitterness at the end. Good APA.

Poured from a 500 ml bottle, it looks great in the glass - clear copper/amber with a lasting off-white head, golden highlights and medium carbonation. The nose is dominated by tropical fruit and a light floral note. You?re immediately hit by a big hop whack with the first sip, giving way to grapefruit, pine resin, passionfruit and lemon flavours. The solid malt backbome lends an almost creamy character and a touch of sweetness. Everything is really well balanced, making this very more-ish. You could be forgiven for thinking you?re drinking a ?name? West Coast IPA. A very good Aussie beer that?s drinkable year round.
